I was making the quick and oh-so-popular kids meal of hot dogs and Mac&Cheese, when Nathan walked over to me.
In keeping with his daily routine, he said "I hungee, Mommy."
And I replied, "I am making hot dogs and macaroni for supper so we will eat soon."
Well, Nathan insisted he needed to see what I was making. So I picked him up so he could see the pots of boiling water and was instructing him that he couldn't touch because everything was very hot.
When I set him down, Nathan looked at me questioning and asked "Why do you give hot dogs a bath?"
I laughed and told him that was how you cook them, but he insists that they are taking a bath.
