Yesterday as we were getting in the car to head to daycare, John noticed the snow falling. He was thrilled to say the least. I think it partially has to do with the fact that I told him that when it snows his birthday will shortly follow.
As Daddy buckled John into his car seat, I overheard John asking about snow. Daddy explained that when it gets really cold the rain turns into snow. John responded with an exuberant "NO WAY!"
Well, it obviously left an impression. Today we were visiting Grandpa and Grandma Haider and watching the snow fall outside. John turned to Grandma and said "Did you know that when it gets cold, rain becomes snow?"
I think it surprised Grandma and Grandpa!
