It may be January, but it is time to start thinking baseball! We went to Twins Fest at the Metrodome with Grandpa and Grandma Friedrichs. I had never been there and Daddy hadn't been there for many years, so we were not real sure what to expect. There were so many people and so much to see. I think it is something we can do every year as a family. As the boys get older they will probably enjoy it more. John found plenty to keep him smiling and Nathan was happy with the free candy he got!
The boys got eye black stickers (huge hit!), we registered for some free stuff, played games, got balloon animals, threw balls, did some batting, jumped around and people watched. We also went on a tour of the Dome, which was pretty cool.
Our one major photo op was with Twins Outfielder, Delmon Young. We did run into Nick Punto walking through the crowd. No one recognized him at first and then Joe noticed who it was.
It's not really Morneau, but the cardboard cutout will have to do. His lines are really long and the boys are not cooperative if we stand still that long.

John was really excited about his T-Rex balloon.
A highlight of John's day was the kid's area with Giant "Jumpy Things," throwing areas and batting cages. It was pretty fun for the little guy.
