John had a very exciting day. He went sledding for the first time and he and Nathan got to see Santa for the second time this year! Such lucky boys!
Mommy's family was altogether celebrating Christmas at her Aunt Sharon's and Uncle Dennis's place. When Mommy was little she did lots of sledding in the hills around their house. This year, uncle Dennis spent time getting the hills in prime condition for some tubing.
John went down the hill for the first time with Shaun. John's eyes were huge as they went zipping down the hill. As soon as they got to the bottom though he was all smiles. He looked up at Shaun and said "We do again?" And that was the first of many trips down the hill.
John and Shaun are all smiles on their way back up the hill for another trip down!
John loved playing in the tubes!
John and Daddy went down as well. However they went off the beaten trail and wiped out Mommy's cousin Chad and his little 3-year-old son Chase at the bottom of the hill. Chad did a somersault through the air and Chase and John ended up in Joe's arms. The collision knocked John's boots right off, but everyone was okay! It scared Mommy though!
Kylie enjoyed playing in the snow!
Grandpa Haider and John made a trip as well. They went by so fast that Mommy could hardly snap a picture!

John and Kylie took turns wearing a big box from one of John's presents. Both of them would exclaim " I'm dolly!" We all got quite a laugh about this!
