John's arrival was quite a shock for Cooper, our 2-year old lap dog. Cooper was used to all the attention and suddenly there was this new little human who was squeaking and getting everyone's attention. Cooper did get a bit depressed and lost weight despite our attempts to feed him more treats than he could ever imagine.
After time, Cooper got used to John and would want to be close to him all the time. He would lay at John's feet whenever John was on the floor and would want to sit on the lap of whoever was holding John.
