John received ice skates from Uncle Bill and Aunt Sara for Christmas. He was pretty excited (and I think Daddy was too) to try them out on the rink. We had the perfect day for skating. . .it was just sunny and not too cold.
John is super excited about putting on his new skates.
Daddy and John make a few rounds on the ice. John wasn't real thrilled about how slippery it was, so he wasn't exactly on board to keep trying. Daddy didn't want to turn it into a negative experience, so we were only on the ice about 20 minutes. Maybe next time John will be more open minded about it. But you can never tell with a 3-year-old
