Mommy and Daddy are big softies. It is not a special day, but we bought John a new toy: Better Batter Baseball. All the way through the store John talked about the toy and he could hardly wait for Daddy to put it together when we got home. He was swinging at the thing before Daddy had even finished.
John was very excited about the Better Batter once it was all put together. When he touched his bat to the red dot on the plate it played all kinds of baseball themed songs while the cage of balls lifted up to the arm. When the arm grabbed a ball, John knew just what to do . . .swing for the fences. Every time he hit the ball he would drop his bat, flex his muscles and saw "GRRRRRR." It was hilarious. When the "GRRRR" got old he opted for yelling "Home run!" and running around the room. Hours of fun!
