I Saw Sharks!

We took advantage of a Saturday at home to visit Underwater Adventures.
And John had a blast!

On the way into the underwater exhibit we walked through the forest that shows Minnesota's common animals. John got to pose with a friendly beaver!

John rode on Daddy's shoulders through the tunnel, therefore John got a very close view of the aquatic life. He was about 2 inches from the tunnel glass. At one point a giant stingray swam over the tunnel and over John's head. He thought it was cool until it was right above his head and then suddenly he was very afraid. I would be too though if my nose was only inches away from a stingray!John loved the Sharks and was just in awe. The next few days whenever someone asked him what we did over the weekend he would exclaim "I saw sharks!"

Nathan even enjoyed the tunnel. He was snug in his stroller, but had a great view of all the colorful fish and the sharks that were swimming overhead. Sure beats the fake the fish that swim around in the toy attached to his crib!

Mommy and John pose inside the giant shark jaws!

John even got to play on a giant turtle statue, dig for seashells in the sand, and dance on a pirate's ship to some funky music. Lots of fun for a 2-year-old!
