We spent the 4th of July at Grandpa and Grandma Friedrichs'. Daddy, John and Grandpa enjoyed a canoe ride around the lake. John sat really still and even got to hold his own paddle. But boy was he unhappy when he finally had to get out of the boat. John and his cousins also spent time playing in the kiddie pool that Grandpa and Grandma set up and digging in the sand at on the beach.
