Hungry boy at 5 months

Nathan is 5 months old and he is quite the eater. Since his appetite is growing we decided to start feeding him rice cereal. And he loved it! He didn't even try to spit it out and was opening his mouth for more. I was very surprised!

The boys in January

The boys are growing so much everyday. Here are some fun shots of them this month.

Nathan is getting so strong and loves to be upright. He is doing so well sitting with support. It won't be long till he is strong enough to sit all on his own!

Sometimes the best toy is an empty box. John played in this one for an hour and was very disappointed when we finally took it to the trash.

Nathan is full of smiles all the time.

Nathan loves his bath. I think we will have two kids who love the water.

John thinks it is funny to wear Nathan's hat and gloves.

Getting ready for bed. The boys are in their PJs and hanging out in Mommy and Daddy's bed. John is still so affectionate with Nathan. He is always talking to him and trying to hug him. And Nathan lights up whenever John is close.

Santa comes to our house

Santa brought lots of stuff for the boys from toys to clothes. John of course had the present opening thing down pat now and ripped through every one's gifts. Nathan just enjoyed the show.

The big present, and the one John was most excited about, was a wagon. Of course Santa didn't assemble it so John and Daddy had some work to do.

John couldn't wait to sit in his wagon and was all smiles when it was finally together.

And then John was begging for Nathan to ride with him. I'm sure the wagon will get lots of miles next summer.

Barbie Jeep fun

Grandpa and Grandma Friedrichs found a Barbie Jeep for John. It is destined to get a makeover to make it more manly! But all John cares about right now is driving it around in circle after circle after circle. And we have found that driving the jeep is a surefire way to get john to fall asleep. He't out cold but the jeep keeps going.
